Halifax, NS - May 13, 2024 - Taste Asian fans, supporters, and foodies, get ready to indulge in the ultimateculinary and cultural experience at Taste Asia 2024! With great anticipation and excitement, we arethrilled to announce the official unveiling of Taste Asia 2024 Programming, promising an array of newprograms and innovations.
This year's Taste Asia event will be bigger and better than ever before, as we expand to occupy bothFoundation Wharf and the Beach Volleyball Area, now designated as the T Zone and A Zone,respectively. Boasting a total of over 55 vendors, attendees can expect a delightful fusion of food,beverages, activities, performances, and crafts across both zones.
In an effort to create a cashless experience, Taste Asia 2024 is proud to introduce the Taste Asia “E-Access Card” in partnership with Snaplii. This digital gift card allows users to top-up in advance andshop seamlessly across the entire event. With cashback rewards and exclusive discounts availableduring the event, attendees can enjoy a hassle-free shopping experience.
Play Small, Give Big: Collaborating with vendors, sponsors, and patrons, Taste Asia 2024 is dedicated toaddressing food insecurity and improving food accessibility. All profits from carnival games, live demokitchen sessions, and the Taste Asia Gift Card will be donated to FeedNS, supporting those in needwithin our community.
The highlight of this year's event is the inaugural Kitchen on the Wharf and Live Cooking Show, broughtto life in collaboration with IKEA. Featuring chefs from diverse backgrounds, attendees can witnesscaptivating live cooking demonstrations, sample Asian-inspired flavors, and even vote for their favoritedishes. All proceeds from this session will be donated to Feed NS.
With over 30 food vendors representing various cultures, four 19+ liquor vendors, and over 20 craft andmarket businesses, Taste Asia 2024 promises to be an unforgettable gastronomic experience. Livecooking shows and performances will take place on two stages, each with their own schedule availableonline.
